Jubilee Tree |

Before the evening Eucharist we planted a tree to
mark the Platinum Jubilee; it is, we believe, a pink flowering cherry.
The picture shows the Vicar, John Payne, a long-time member of the
congregation, who wielded the spade, Rosemary Colbourne, who champions
our eco-friendliness and masterminded the project. William Townsend,
who dug the hole, is just visible. |
