Flower Festival

21st-23rd July 2017

The Ringmer Flower Club is 40 years old - and it celebrated this occasion with a festival in our church with the title "Summer Serenade"; here is the beautiful arrangement around the altar. During the festival there was live music at various times on the Saturday culminating in a concert in the evening with organ, vocal and piano duet items. There was a retiring collection which raised about 700 for our local hospice.

On the Sunday the whole event concluded with a festival Evevsong when the choir, augmented by a few friends, mainly from Southover Church in Lewes, sang 'Stanford in B flat' and John Rutter's setting of  'For the beauty of the earth'
